Lives Of My Day

Notes:
I had started collecting newspaper clips, with the intention of writing my “A Day in the Life”.

I had the chords and the melody first and then wrote the words.

I like having a light melody with dark and twisted words.

Lives of My Day is probably my favorite song that I ever wrote. For myself; I feel like I got it right.

Lives Of My Day

Verse
Forty-four caliber, Big Mac to go
Pay back finally at hand
Abraham Lincoln, his corpse in my tub
Video spells out my plan

Chorus
These are the days of my life
These are the lives of my day
Cursed by the memories of what lies ahead
Look what I have become

Verse
Four feet, two inches, burning so bright
See how you light up the sky
Jugular garden tool, step on your throat
What’s it take to make you die?

Chorus
These are the days of my life
These are the lives of my day
Cursed by the memories of what lies ahead

Bridge
I don’t know what it is that makes me do the things I do
I wasn’t brought up this way
It must be something in the water or
That teacher that I had in second grade

Chorus
These are the days of my life
These are the lives of my day
Cursed by the memories of what lies ahead

Chorus
These are the days of my life
These are the lives of my day
Cursed by the memories of what lies ahead
